1. Our 14-day refund promise
If your paid subscription is not right for you, request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your first paid subscription charge. This promise applies to both monthly and annual plans, wherever you live. You do not need to give a reason, and using the learning features during this period does not disqualify you.
The window starts when your first subscription payment is taken, not when you create a free account. If your subscription includes a free trial, it starts when the first paid charge is taken after that trial. Send your request within the window; a delay in our response will not make an on-time request ineligible.
This voluntary promise covers the first paid subscription charge only. Later charges, including subscription renewals, are not covered by this promise. Any applicable statutory rights or additional rights under the payment provider’s terms still apply, including where they provide a longer period or cover a renewal.
2. How to request a refund
Email contact@pokerista.academy with the subject “Refund request”. Include your account email, purchase date and order reference if available, and say that you would like a refund. Do not send your password, full card number or card security code.
We will review your request against this policy and arrange eligible refunds through our payment provider. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method where possible. The time until the money appears depends on the payment provider, payment method and bank; applicable legal refund deadlines still apply.
Refunding the subscription payment ends the paid access covered by that payment. Request cancellation as well, or use Manage billing to stop future renewals; do not assume that requesting a refund alone cancels the subscription. Free features remain available subject to our Terms of Use.
3. What you are purchasing
A Pro subscription provides the learning features and usage limits shown for your selected plan. It is not a deposit for gambling, a stake, a purchase of cash-value chips or an entry to a prize competition. Free access does not require a subscription.
Before confirming payment, review the checkout’s total price, currency, taxes, billing period, trial conditions if any, renewal terms and supplier identity. Our payment provider handles available paid checkouts as merchant of record. Its buyer terms apply to the transaction alongside your mandatory consumer rights.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Recurring subscriptions renew at the interval confirmed at checkout until cancelled. Any trial’s duration, payment requirement and conversion date are shown before you accept it. A trial is included only if it is offered in your checkout.
Open Membership and use Manage billing to access our payment provider’s customer portal. Follow the cancellation steps before the next renewal and keep the confirmation. If the portal is unavailable, use our payment provider’s buyer support or the operator’s support contact promptly.
Cancellation stops future renewal. Access normally continues until the end of the paid period confirmed in the portal, unless a refund, legal remedy or other stated arrangement ends it sooner. Cancellation alone does not automatically request a refund for the current period.
Signing out, uninstalling a browser shortcut, clearing cookies or deleting learning content does not cancel a subscription. Request billing cancellation separately from account-data deletion.
5. Statutory withdrawal rights
If you are an eligible consumer in the EEA or UK, a distance service contract generally has a 14-day withdrawal period from conclusion of the contract, subject to applicable exceptions. Other countries may provide additional or different rights.
Merely opening the Academy, accepting cookies or agreeing to general terms does not waive a statutory withdrawal right. Rules differ between ongoing digital services and specific digital content. Any valid request for immediate performance and any legally permitted acknowledgment concerning loss of a right must be presented separately where required by law.
To exercise an applicable right, send an unambiguous statement that you wish to withdraw using the operator’s support contact or our payment provider’s support team, with your account email, order reference and purchase date. You can use: ‘I give notice that I withdraw from my Pokerista Academy subscription contract purchased on [date], order [reference], account [email].’ Do not include card details.
These statutory rules are separate from our voluntary refund promise. For an eligible request under our 14-day first-payment promise, we refund the full charge without a deduction for use. Nothing on this page replaces mandatory refund deadlines or reduces rights to reimbursement.
6. Other billing and service problems
For an incorrect charge, duplicate payment, purchase problem or applicable statutory refund, contact our payment provider’s support team or the operator with the order reference and a brief description. Payment information and any additional refund terms appear on your receipt and in our payment provider’s buyer terms.
If a paid digital service is faulty, unavailable or materially different from what was promised, you may be entitled to correction, a price reduction, termination or a refund under applicable law. These rights are not excluded because you used the service.
Our voluntary refund promise is additional to these rights, not a replacement for them. A request outside that promise’s window, or concerning a renewal, may still qualify under applicable law or the payment provider’s terms. No term here makes all purchases non-refundable.
